Trade Show Coming Up?

Friday, February 24th, 2006

Attending a trade show soon? Exhibiting at one? Here’s some helpful advice…. The basic idea of a trade show or convention booth is to gain new customers and perhaps do business with past customers. Using a promotional item at your booth is to attract people to your table, generate interest and hopefully stir some inquiries. However, the correct use of promotional items is important or it can be damaging. Try to use a successful way of interacting with people rather than have them just stop by, pick up a freebie, and keep walking. Personally hand out the item to strike conversation. Make sure you are using the correct promotional item… Have it relate to your business and/or consumers and that will make your company remembered. Another good idea would be send out an invitation or promo flyer before the show to potential customers and give them a reason to stop by your booth. You can be creative and cost conscious while building your booth traffic before the show event starts. Just a couple ideas that could really improve your mark at the next trade show. We have a great selection of trade show items for any event!

American bicycle racing superstar Lance Armstrong started the trend in May when his Lance Armstrong Foundation kicked off its “LiveStrong” campaign by selling yellow bracelets to raise funds for cancer research. Since then, the foundation says more than 33 million bands have been sold at $1 apiece.

Now it seems every charitable cause, from disease research to disaster relief, has a bracelet with a signature color. Place your name on awareness bracelets and support a good cause at the same time.
